We hadden een goed verblijf in "il Palazetto". De verhuurders zijn erg aardig. Ze zijn er als je ze nodig zou hebben en hebben ons laten proeven van producten uit eigen tuin. De inrichting van het huisje is eenvoudig maar goed. Met 5-6 personen is het goed toeven. (7 is ook wel mogelijk) De woonkamer/ keuken is niet zo groot, maar wij hebben vooral buiten geleefd onder en om de tentluifel. Het uitzicht vanuit de tuin is geweldig. Genieten van het zicht op de Appenijnen en de ondergaande zon achter het Fort aan de overkant. Carfagnana heeft een centrale functie in het dal en heeft daardoor goede voorzieningen. Vanaf het huisje is het 10-15 min. lopen naar winkels etc. In de omgeving zijn plaatsen als Lucca, Pisa en Pistoia goed te bereiken en de moeite waard. De Appenijnen en het Apuaanse gebergte biedt veel wandelmogelijkheden. POI's zijn: Grotto del Vento, Parco del Levigliese (klimmen, Canyoning, kanoën), Lago di Vagli (met verdronken dorp), Passo del Vestito (richting kustplaatsen en langs marmergroeven) etc. etc.

[English translation courtesy of Easy Reserve] We had a good stay in "Il Palazetto". The owners are very nice. They are there when you need them and let us a try their home grown vegetables. The interior of the cottage is simple but good. With 5-6 people is a nice place. (7, it also possible). The living room / kitchen is not big, but we have mostly lived outside under the tent. The view from the garden is great. Enjoying the view of the Apennines and the sun setting behind the Fortress across the street. Carfagnana has a central function in the valley and therefore has good facilities. From the house it is 10-15 mins walk to shops etc in the area are places like Lucca, Pisa, Pistoia, easily reachable and worthwhile. The Apennines and the Apuan mountains offer many hiking possibilities. Wir waren zu dritt für 2 Wochen in dieser Unterkunft, speziell im Haus "Michele" (vermutlich nach dem ältesten Sohn der Gastgeberfamilie benannt). Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen, auch wenn die Anfahrt recht anspruchsvoll ist. Ich empfehle einen Wagen mit Automatikgetriebe, es sei denn man ist gut im Anfahren auf Bergen.
Die Familie Bernardini ist eine sehr nette Familie. Sie haben vier reizende Kinder. Diese spielten auch mit unserer Tochter bzw. mit uns. Das gemeinsame Spielen aller Kinder aus allen angereisten Nationen war sehr schön. Der Pool ist groß und ausreichend für alle. Man kann dort trotz vorhandener Kinder (wem so etwas stören sollte) sehr ruhige Tage verbringen.
Die Unterkunft ist sehr schön.
Vielen Dank auch noch einmal an Roberta Bernardini für die vielen gemeinsamen Essen aller Gäste.
Die Unterkunft können wir 300-%ig weiterempfehlen.

[English translation courtesy of Easy Reserve] The three of us stayed for 2 weeks at this property, in the unit called Michele (presumably named after the oldest son of the host family). We have thoroughly enjoyed it, even if the road to get there is quite challenging. I recommend a car with automatic transmission, unless you are good at pulling away on hills.
The Bernardini family is a very nice family. They have four lovely children. They played with our daughter. The children off all nations that played together was very nice. The pool is large enough for everybody. You can spend some calm days there despite the presence of children (for those who should be disturbed by such a thing). The accommodation is very nice. Many thanks again to Roberta Bernardini for the dinner we had together with all guests.

Prima uitvalbasis om de omgeving te bekijken. Voor zeven personen (en baby) wel wat aan de krappe kant maar de locatie en de omgeving maakt veel goed!
Het apartement bevind zich op de bovenste woonlaag en omdat er geen airco is kan het vrij warm worden.
Prachtige locatie met redelijk goed restaurant
Zwembad wat aan de krappe kant als er een aantal families met kinderen zijn.
[English translation courtesy of Easy Reserve] Excellent base to visit the surroundings. For seven people (and baby) a bit on the tight side but the location and the surroundings are beautiful! The apartment is located at the top floor and there is no air conditioning so it can get quite hot.

This property is in an ideal location close to charming little towns, Chianti's vineyards and well within reach of some of the best cities in Tuscany. The house is spacious, very well maintained and affords a number of picturesque views of the surrounding countryside. The pool is fabulous as well. Overall, this home far exceeded our expectations.

La Rogaia est une charmante maison,très bien située en Toscane :à 1 heure de Sienne ,Florence, San Giminiano;nous sommes mème aller à Rome.La maison est dans un endroit très tranquille au milieu des oliviers et avec une vue imprenable !Pour nous qui étions venus entre amis c'était l' idéal.Nous avons pu nous ressourcer loin du bruit et faire le plein de soleil sur les transats de la superbe piscine!
Quant aux propriétaires:une mère et son fils adorables ,toujours prèts a vous rendre service.

Tenuta Tizzauli is very well located in the Chianti region half way between Firenze and Siena. We stayed in the Rosa appartment for week and had a great time. The appartment was very clean and comfortable. the pool is nice. There is no need for AC even in the middle of summer as the place is nice and cool. It is perfectly located for short trips in the Chianty region, wine tasting, trip to Firenze, etc.
THe only problem we had is the Internet connection(or rather the lack of). It says there is Wifi but in reality it doesn't work at all. The bandwidth is so low that it takes hours to load a web page.
Note from the owner: we have had a problem with the Wi-Fi system but now we have solved the problem by installing stronger units in the apartments, now it's working correctly.

I visit Pornelleto in the beginning of August with 5 of my friends. We stayed in appartment Borgo. The apartement was nice, rooms were nice as well, for the price payed. We really missed one nice terase, because the one that is there is very small, dirty and equiped with not very nice plastic chairs and table. Since we were staying in the Borgo, we had to walk cca 7 minutes to the pool, because it was on the other side of the property, which was not mentioned on the web page or before our arrival. It was no problem for us, because we are young, but definitely it is a problem for older guests. The good side is the very nice owner, but unfortunately she did not tell us anything about the region, as she said the first day. The family living on he property was very nice and as well the dinner, they cooked for us one night was very delicious. I reccomend this property, but better choice is definitely Alari appartments. The location of the villa is just perfect, and the nearby villages Cetona and Chiusi are amazing, with no turists. Peruggia, Sienna and all the other nice villages and cities are very near.

This property was absolutely perfect - just as described on the web site. It was immaculate and well equipped and maintained. This was a special holiday for our family as we celebrated my husband's 60th. birthday whilst there. Everyone, including our young grandchildren, declared it a huge success. We have absolutely no complaints only fantastic memories.

goed woning met het nodige confort - nadeel op eerste verdiep - terras niet aanwezig - wel mogelijk om in gemeenschappelijke tuin te zitten, nogal weinig privacy - super zwembad - weinig zonneschermen
