Fremragende 5 /5Beautiful villa with enough space for the 7 of us. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of extra blankets and pillows if needed. The bathrooms were fine - all were working well. Lots of water pressure and hot. The property was maintained beautifully and the housekeeper came twice during the week with were there. The area was absolutely beautiful. However, if you have a large van the roads seem a little small. The road is winding up the hill but once you arrive you just don't want to leave. Dining al fresco was so relaxing but there was the occasional mosquito. The pool was very clean and the position allowed for a beautiful view of the mountains. Small village, narrow roads but convenient to autostrada and easy access to sightseeing in Lucca, Florence, Cinque Terra, Portofino, etc. Walter was very nice and made us feel welcomed. He stopped by to check to see if we needed anything and to clean the pool. My husband and I relaxed the entire week by the pool. However our son and his family went sightseeing everyday. There was a great restaurant that is a must to go to. Seating is outside and when it gets dark they show old movies on the outside walls. The restaurant overlooks the city and the view is amazing.
