I cannot say enough about this property and the service that was provided. I house and grounds are impeccable. The swimming pool is clean, very attractive. For the most part we had it to ourselves. Alessandra, who managed the property was very attentive and helpful. We could not have asked for a more enjoyable stay. We agreed that we would return and I am recommending the place to a friend who is getting married. Thank you for a lovely stay.
Casale Lorenzo is a beautiful place to stay. Excellent facilities. Very clean and very comfortable. A quiet location...the only downside was there are quite a few wasps. We had an amazing time and may well book again.
In primis ci tengo a sottolineare la disponibilità e gentilezza dei proprietari, Teresa ed Edoardo.. persone splendide.. il posto è meraviglioso e "AL MELO" ci siamo trovati benissimo.
Vacanza con mio marito e i nostri 2 cani. Siamo stati benissimo e lo consigliamo a tutti.. se hai bisogno di rilassarti un pò, di staccare dalla vita frenetica di tutto l'anno.. questo è il posto giusto.. consigliatissimo!!!!

Das Haus ist sehr ruhig gelegen, man erreicht es über einen Kiesweg. Alles wurde uns sehr sauber von den Besitzern übergeben. Auch der Pool ist traumhaft und es sind genügend Liegen vorhanden. Pietro und seine Frau sind wunderbare Gastgeber die sich sehr gut um uns gekümmert haben. Als, zum Beispiel, ein Ventilator nicht mehr funktionierte organisierte er innerhalb von einer halben Stunde einen neuen. Wir waren 4 Erwachsene und 3 Kinder und würden jederzeit wieder kommen.
[English translation courtesy of Easy Reserve] The house is very quiet, you can reach it via a gravel road. Everything was handed over to us very clean by the owners. The pool is fantastic and there are enough pool chairs available. Pietro and his wife are wonderful hosts who took very good care of us. When, for example, a fan stopped working, he organized a new one within half an hour. We were 4 adults and 3 children and would come back anytime.
Casa Ivan, home from home and what a wonderful experience. Apart from the incredible setting and convenience for those with kids, Ivan, Giovanni and Maria Domenica are just incredible. We felt part of the extended family and so well looked after with fruit, cakes and vegetables from the garden.. An amazing part of our holiday & we can't wait to return..
Wir waren von dem Haus und der Anlage begeistert!
Wir waren vier befreundete Familien und haben das Haus mit 10 Erwachsenen und 8 Kindern/Babies komplett belegt.
Positiv:
- Die Sauberkeit der Zimmer/ Wäsche!
- Mehrere Sitzmöglichkeiten auch als große Gruppe (auch indoor), eine Sitzgelegenheit war immer im Schatten
- die Pools waren der Wahnsinn! Die Kinder haben den kleinen Pool geliebt, uns Erwachsenen war es recht, dass die Kinder in Hörweite waren
- der große Pool ist echt klasse, da kann manches Hotel nicht mithalten!
- Kühlschrank unten am Pool (ja, es ist ein bisschen Weg vom Haus zum Pool; und es geht steil bergauf/bergab ;-D)
- Duschen mit Warmwasser und Toiletten unten am Pool
- große Scheune/offene, aber überdachte Möglichkeit für die Kinder sich aufzuhalten
- viele Möglichkeiten sich zu beschäftigen: Tischtennis, Tennis, Pools, Boccia...
- sehr nette Vermieter, die nebenan wohnen und das Anwesen sehr gut pflegen, auch wenn die Verständigung zumeist etwas holprig war (kaum Englischkenntnisse)
(Kleine) Kritikpunkte:
- der Herd der zweiten (oberen) Küche ist nicht funktionsfähig ist; wir haben deshalb alles in der großen Hauptküche zubereitet
- die Fitnessgeräte sind sehr alt und z.T. vor allem für Kinder verletzungsträchtig; sie sollten entfernt werden
- z.T. sind die Sachen etwas in die Jahre gekommen (z.B. Tennisplatz), was für uns aber vollkommen ok war
- Es geht vom Haus wirklich sehr steil bergab zu den Pools etc, was für unsere 1,5 jährigen nicht zu bewältigen war (für ältere Kinder aber kein Problem darstellt).
Insgesamt waren wir rundrum zufrieden und können die Location wärmstens empfehlen, wenn man weitab von allem die Toskana in einer größeren Gruppe geniessen möchte ;-D.

Positive:
- The cleanliness of the room / laundry!
- Several sitting areas good for a large group (also indoor), a seat was always in the shade
- the pools were amazing! The kids loved the little pool, the adults were happy that the kids were within earshot
- the large pool is really great !
- Fridge at the pool area (even if it's a bit of a walk from the house to the pool, and it goes steeply up and downhill)
- Showers with hot water and toilets down by the pool
- large barn, open but covered and gave the children the possibility to play there
- many amenities and activities: table tennis, tennis, pools, boccia ...
- very nice landlords, who live next door and maintain the property very well, even if the communication was mostly a bit bumpy (hardly any knowledge of English)
(Small) criticisms:
- the stove of the second (upper) kitchen is not functional; That's why we cooked everything in the main kitchen
- The fitness equipment is very old and may be dangerous especially for children. It should be removed
- Something got a bit old (for example tennis court), which was perfectly ok for us
- It goes from the house really steep downhill to the pools etc, which for our 1.5 year old child was difficult (for older children but no problem).
Overall, we were completely satisfied and can highly recommend the location, if you want to enjoy far away from everything Tuscany in a larger group !!
The Villa was amazing!!
Plenty of room for everyone, the rooms and bathrooms spacious with everything we needed.
It was secluded, and private, just what we wanted.
The Chef (Stefano & Patrizia), organised through the Villa owner (Roberto) was exceptional. It was the best meal we had in Italy throughout our entire holiday!!
Roberto and his team were friendly and attentive to our needs without being invasive!
The Villa was ‘more’ than we ever anticipated!!!!!
We had an unparallelled experience.
The service was great. The persons working at Castello Leopoldo (Cook, chief waiter and waitress) offer a first class service.
