Nice farmhouse dating back to the 19th century situated a short distance away from the beaches of Talamone and of Mount Argentario.
This property has been recently and tastefully restored preserving its original architectural features and materials (such as the beautiful terracotta-tiled floors and beamed ceilings) and it has been turned into a welcoming country house.
Outside guests can enjoy use of a nice 1500-square meter garden.
On the villa ground floor there is a small apartment with completely independent access occupied by an old lady (the owner) who does not share with her guests the use of the garden.
The property location allows easy access to the nearby beaches of Talamone, the beautiful natural preserve of Maremma and to the Maremma region with several Etruscan sites, spas and beautiful vineyard areas.
Mount Argentario, Porto Ercole and Porto Santo Stefano with nice beaches and marinas are approx. 25 km away
A secondary road passes near the property.
Two rooms of the villa accessible from the outside are closed and not occupied.
Distances: Fonteblanda with general stores 2 km, beaches (surf and kite-surf facilities) 3 km away, Talamone (beaches and marina) 6 km, Orbetello (ancient lagoon town) 22 km away, Porto Santo Stefano (ferries for Giglio island) 24 km, the beautiful, wild beaches of “Feniglia” 25 km away, Porto Ercole (marina) 27 km, Saturnia (spas) 55 km, Pitigliano 60 km away, Siena 105 km, Florence 180 km away, Rome 170 km away.
At guests’ disposal: large, 1500 square-meter garden furnished with tables, chairs, sun-beds and barbecue. The villa provides internet connection (free of charges) and mosquito nets on the bedroom windows.

Ansich wäre es ein schönes Haus. Leider ist alles lieblos gemacht und auch ungepflegt. Die Küche war bei Ankunft nicht geputzt. In den Schubladen fanden wir undefinierbaren Schmutz vor.
Ca. 150-200m entfernt befindet ein Anwesen mit mehreren Hunden, die die ganze Nacht hindurch gebellt haben. Das Haus steht direkt an einer befahrenen Landstraße (Strada Provinciale Talamone EST Richtung Montiano).
Wir können das Haus nicht empfehlen, schon gar nicht zu diesem Preis.

In fact it would be a nice house. Unfortunately it is careless and neglected. The kitchen was not cleaned on arrival. In the drawers we found undefinable dirt.
Approximately 150-200m away is a property with several dogs that have barked all night long. The house is located directly on a busy country road (Strada Provinciale Talamone EST direction Montiano).
We cannot recommend the house, certainly not at this price.
