Beautiful brick villa situated in quiet and panoramic location amidst the green hills of the Chianti region with enchanting views over the surrounding vineyards and olive groves. This property has been skilfully restored with all its original architectural features preserved and turned into a charming country house providing all modern comforts. The house is tastefully furnished with antiques and ancient carpets.
The owners of the property live in an adjoining former barn (with independent entrance), but they do not use the swimming-pool.
Distances: the centre of Montespertoli with all kind of shops 3 km, Florence 30 km, San Gimignano with its beautiful medieval towers 25 km.
At guests’ disposal: large and private furnished garden, private swimming-pool set in panoramic location (12 x 6 m – maximum depth 1,4 m – open from 01/05 to 30/09) with bathroom with shower (hot water), barbecue. Wireless internet connection (ADSL). Parking within the grounds. Screens on all windows. The villa is non-smoking.
Extra services: maid service available by arrangement (€ 12,- / per hour – to be paid on the spot). Baby bed available on request (€ 30,- per week).

Ground floor: large and bright living-room (satellite TV, DVD, CD player with a wide offer of CDs) decorated with beamed ceilings, ancient terracotta-tiled floors, fireplace and upright piano, bathroom with shower, beautiful, large and well-stocked kitchen (45 m2) (oven, 2 freezers, toaster, microwave, dishwasher) with comfortable dining area (dining table for 10 people), 2 double bedrooms (one of which with air-conditioning), bathroom with shower, laundry-room with washing-machine and ironing facilities.
1st floor: large, elegantly furnished living-room (satellite TV, DVD, CD) with fireplace, double bedroom with ensuite bathroom with shower, twin-bedded room (air conditioning), twin-bedded room, bathroom with shower, kitchen (oven, dishwasher, freezer) with dining area. The twin beds on the first floor can be joined together.

Etwas abseits gelegen, dadurch herrlich ruhig. Die Vermieterin ist sehr nett und gibt gute Restauranttips. Bettwäsche war inbegriffen. Alles sehr sauber und ordentlich. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Charming Villa with spectacular views

The Villa is absolutely beautiful with stunning views in every direction. It is the perfect location for visiting the Tuscan towns and only 20 min from Florence.

Outstanding location, set among tranquil olive groves with views across the Tuscan hills, and within easy striking distance of Florence, Sienna and Pisa. The owners grow figs, grapes, plums, lemons and delicious tomatoes, and make their own olive oil. Signora has a perfectionist's eye for detail, as shown in the spacious house, which is furnished with antiques. The house and pool are kept spotlessly clean, and she offers much helpful advice about local attractions and facilities, including a great tip about parking in Florence. The nearby town of Montespertoli has all the shops you need, plus restaurants, bars and a wine shop (opposite the supermarket) where you can get your bottles refilled from a huge vat. We bought amazingly fresh and tasty seasonal produce from the green market (Tuesday) and the Farmer's market (Saturday).

This villa is wonderful. It is very spacious, extremely clean, and contains all of the necessities for a very comfortable stay. The grounds surrounding the villa are also immaculate and the views are spectacular. It is conveniently located close to Florence and many other popular sites such as Pisa. The town in which it is located is small but contains restaurants and a grocery store (less than 10 minutes away by car).
The property owner's residence is attached to the villa. Although she is quite concerned about her villa (at times overly so) she is also very helpful and a good resource.
The only real drawback is that those with very small children must take caution when on this property as there is dangerously steep hill immediately behind the villa which is unguarded. It somewhat affected our ability to enjoy the grounds but did not affect our enjoyment of the villa overall.

The villa is really beautiful and spacious, surrounded by vineyards. View is spectacular! There were 10 of us but still had plenty of rooms. The owner is very helpful and nice, however very afraid about her property. She asked us to pay attention not to make any stains and spots on the floors and marble sink in the kitchen, but at the same time she could gave us fresh tomatoes from the garden. This place is nice for people who like to rest and read. It’s very quiet and 15 minutes by car to the nearest small town.

Villa San Piero is strategically positioned on top of a hill in the hart of tuscany with a wonderful view and a great private swimming pool. Surrounded by olive groves vineyards and fruit trees with a carefully groomed garden around it. Whats so impressive of the villa is its original design and carefully selected antic furniture in addition to its privacy and care paid by its owners to fine details that made our trip extra special and comfortable. Moreover the owners which are first class and live next door were very kind and helpful in giving there expertise opinion on what to see and where to eat etc... so we felt like locals.
