We have been to the villa four times with different friends and family. It has the feel of a true Tuscan villa. The property itself is beautiful, well maintained, and very private. The greatest benefit is that once you leave the property, the beautiful walled city of Cortona is just a short walk up the hill. The location is extremely convenient to get to all the Tuscan and Umbrian towns you will want to visit. You are no more than 90 minutes by car to get to all areas of both provinces. Right down the hill from Cortona is Camucia which has a train station with ample free parking that can get you anywhere you want to go. I don't think you can find a more beautiful, well situated place in Tuscany to be.
