Fremragende 5 /5We can't recommend Palazzo Rosadi highly enough. The stay exceeded our expectations in every way. First, the Palazzo and the grounds are even more beautiful than is conveyed in the pictures. The gardens and pool are extremely well kept, and the pool is 10 meters long, and comfortable for swimming laps. The best part of the stay however is the Rosadi family itself. The property has been in the family for centuries, and the house for hundreds of years. They love the property and it shows. We were welcomed as members of the family in every way. When Rosado Rosadi says Buongiorno my good friend, he means it. He provided us with tips and insights on everything, took us on a tour of a Franciscan monastery we never would otherwise have seen and essentially did whatever was necessary to make our stay enjoyable, without in any way intruding on our privacy. The area is filled with "gems" in small historic towns and castles that you would never otherwise visit, from the Madonna del Parto in Monterchi to the recently discovered (after 500 years sitting unrecognized) Donatello sculpture in nearby Citerna, to the amazing Franciscan monastery/castle at La Verna. We thought we would be yearning for more time in the big cities, but we had more than enough to do in three weeks with only one day trip to Florence. This was a fabulous experience!!!
