Meget Godt 4 /5We had a wonderful stay at Poggio del Sole. Ivan and family were more than helpful with anything that we needed to know about the area, as well as wonderful hosts. The location and scenery up in the Tuscan hills was breathtaking. We were able to see many small towns such as Cortona, Montepulciano, Lake Trasimeno, and more. It was a home away from home. Our accommodation far exceeded our expetantions, very clean and very well equipped. The welcome we received on arrival, with food provisions before we had the chance to shop for groceries was a wonderfu surprise. The kindness showed throughout our stay was very memorable. The pizzeria across the road was very handy if you did not want to drive in town for dinner. Even though our ability to speak Italian was very limited, we managed to communicate very well, as our host Ivan also spoke a little English.
