The house is beautiful and the views were amazing. The owner is very friendly and made life there very comfortable. The directions are a little poor to get there, so try to get the actual address for your GPS before venturing up the hill.

Beautiful apartment, just what I expected. We dealt mostly with Giordonia and she is very kind & helpful. It is very secluded in the Tuscan countryside, so it does take some time to drive but we found the countryside lovely and did not mind the drive. There is no TV or Internet connection in the room but we could get Internet at the office area. It was beautiful to sit under the stars and catch up with email at the end of our day. If you need TV or internet in your room this is not the place for you. The room was clean and everything worked properly. The kitchen was well stocked and pleasant to cook there. The view is lovely. We walked the grounds every morning. You can walk around the vineyards and the woods. The welcome special dinner is worth the cost. Great value, Great space!

The apartment was great and Luca was very helpful and a pleasure to meet. The location is perfect,close to everything, we even came home for lunch. We really liked the gazebo and enjoyed many meals and wine.

Apartment 3 is very spacious with excellent facilities and a lovely location. The rooms have character in keeping with a traditional Tuscan farmhouse but have all the mod cons you would expect. It's a great base for a few days in the Chianti area with lovely restaurants and local shops on your doorstep.

Fantastic Home Base!

We have traveled Europe in the past and have moved locations every few days. It can get tiresome living out of a suitcase, so this time we decided to find a Villa where we could unpack our things and stay for the entire trip. The Villa was central to the areas we wanted to see, and we did day trips. Ventena Vechhia was perfect for this, and we are so glad that we spent the full three weeks at this location. Whether you want to spend some days relaxing at the villa or go off on a day-adventure in the Tuscany region, this truly was the perfect place to be. It really felt like home for us, and the people who own and operate this Villa made it even more special and memorable for us.

The unit we stayed in was the Corbezollo. It was perfect for the two of us, allowing us to cook when we wanted to, provided a patio with amazing views, and the pool directly below us. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was great. Lots of room overall. More importantly, we loved the time we spent with the owners and the staff, as well as meeting all the other travelers who stayed at the Villa. Twice a week they put on an amazing three course meal that is optional for you to take part in. We all gathered in a beautiful Tuscan dining room to experience fresh Italian food and fantastic local wines. It really felt like home to us, and we met amazing people around the table.

Also, make sure to ask the owners all the things they can do to make your stay even more amazing. They have many different things available that we took advantage of throughout the stay, like touring to a local vineyard they recommended and learning about homemade pasta. They are so accommodating and love when you are interested in learning more about the Italian culture.

I am recommending this place to all of my family and friends. We would love to return and do it all over again!

The property was very nice. Interior just as pictures showed online. We were not advised that the gate is operated by a remote control fab that was attached to the door key. When we arrived at our apartment on our second night, I had to walk some 300 meters to look for the groundskeeper and unlock for us. Luckily, other guests had a fob and I was able to open the gate. The shower was a bit small and water leaked a bit which was somewhat annoying. Other than that, the views were panoramic and spectacular. The apartment had pretty much all the kitchen utensils that one would need. We found a co-op grocery store about 10km from the villa and used the barbeque grill on our patio. There was a daybed in the kitchen area where the television sits and that was extremely comfortable. The pillows in the bedroom should be replaced though. They were hard and flat. The pool area was situated on top of a hill and offered wonderful and relaxing views. The restaurants in the area were wonderful. We plan on returning next year for another relaxing holiday.
