La Chiesina is beautiful and ideally located if you have a car. It is a bit hard to find (just keep going further than you think you need to and you'll get there!) but well worth it. Maria made us feel very welcome with freshly made biscuits and a nice bottle of local wine. The house itself is a work of art with a greta history and feel and the pool was a welcome addtion to return home to at the end of a day sightseeing. San G is only a 10 minute drive so easy to get to for dinner or a fabulous gelati. The house and the location really live up to the pictures on the website - it really is that lovely. Thanks Maria!
loved loved this villa so peaceful everything was as they said it was and more would definitely recommend it to anyone great value and we would go back again .
What a wonderful place to stay! Easy to get to many citiies, the bus to Florence worked well and was so close to the location. We would travel during the day and then spend time at the pool and relax. The views were amazing! The apartment was well equipped with everything we needed, very spacious and very clean. We slept well in the comfortable beds. The staff was very helpful and nice. I did laundry one day and it was easy to do and convenient. The castle is amazing, beautiful and one of our favorite things about the trip. I would suggest it to anyone, including families with children that want to be in the tuscany area, great views and also away from the crowds. A small town is just down the hill with a bus stop, stores, coffee, etc. We loved our stay!
Set in a Landscape as good as a Renaissance Painting. Watching wild deer was a bonus. The only complaint from our adult children was that we had not booked villa Gaeta for long enough.
For us it was a piece of heaven, a glimmer of something we couldn´t expect at all. We enjoyed the view, the pool, the kind hospitality of Stephanie and her family. We left our hearts there and miss especially the dogs :) Everything worked well, was very clean and beautiful concerning the villa and garden.
ps:please, send our hearts back to Finland, we desperately need those.

Es war ein wunderschöner Urlaub. Wir waren 8 Erwachsene. Das Haus ist sehr geräumig, sauber und wunderschön gelegen Selbst die Nähe zur SS68 stört kaum. Die Außenanlagen sind sehr gepflegt. Der Pool steht dem in nichts nach und wird regelmäßig gereinigt. Es genügend Liegen und Sonnenschirme vorhanden. Herr Mauro kümmert sich rührend um seine Gäste und ist immer erreichbar. Handtücher und Bettwäsche wurden in den 10 Tagen Aufenthalt 2 mal gewechselt! Die gute Erreichbarkeit der wichtigsten Städte und Sehenswürdigkeiten der Toskana ist ein weiterer positiver Aspekt. Casa Mauro ist sehr empfehlenswert!
[English translation courtesy of Easy Reserve] It was a wonderful vacation. We were 8 adults. The house is very spacious, clean and beautifully located. Even the SS68 road hardly bothers. The grounds are very well maintained. The pool is the perfect match and is cleaned regularly. There were enough chairs and umbrellas available. Mr. Mauro takes very good care of his guests and is always reachable. Towels and sheets were changed 2 times in our 10 day stay! The good access to major cities and attractions of Tuscany is another positive aspect. Casa Mauro is highly recommended!
My husband and I had the most wonderful vacation! The town of Marina di Castagneto Carducci is so amazing! We loved everything about our vacation. The apartment is a short walk to the beach, restaurants, and shops. The owners are such a delight and we really enjoyed talking with them and getting to know them. We had an amazing vacation and hope to be back soon!
