Well located Villa and in good condition. Breathtaking views of SG and the Tuscan country side. Some renovation of the bedrooms and bathrooms will put this property in the excellent category but the outstanding service of the caretakers will make sure your stay is memorable. Wir waren mit 10 Personen für eine Woche zum Geburtstagfeiern in der Villa. Die Villa hat uns sehr gefallen. Die Ausstattung ist sehr gut und alles 100% sauber. Wir wurden herzlichst betreut. Alles war topp(besonders der Pool und der Grill). Wir würden die Villa jederzeit weiterempfehlen.
We spend a week with 10 people in the villa to celebrate a birthday. The Villa is amazing, very spacious and 100% clean. The service was amiable and very attentive. Excellent is the only possible rating and we would recommand the villa to everyone.

Absolut fantastisches Anwesen: Super gepflegt, sehr große Fläche, komplett alleinige Nutzung und rings um keine weiteren Häuser. Fantastischer Pool und die nächste Pizzeria ist in 20 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Besser kann man sich nicht erholen! Sehr flexibler Verwalter, der auf alle Anreise- und Abreisewünsche gerne eingeht. Hat unsere Erwartungen insgesamt deutlich übertroffen.
Wir verbrachten eine wunderschöne Woche in der Villa Scianellone. 2 Familien mit Kinder kamen alle voll auf ihre Kosten. Unbschreiblich schön ist nicht nur das sehr alte große Haus (Villa) sondern auch die riesen Parkanlage mit hunderten Olivenbäumen. Das ganze Areal befindet sich auf einem Hügel, somit geniesst man eine Traumaussicht auf das gegenüber liegende Dorf Toritta di Siena und sogar Montepulciano kann man noch erkennnen. Der Pool ist größer und schöner als er im Internet erscheint und wurde immer frühmorgens um ca. 5.30 vom Eigentümer gereinigt- ein tolles Service! Überhaupt sind die Eigentümer sehr herzlich und man merkt, dass ihnen dieses Haus samt den Besuchern sehr am Herzen liegt. Wir kommen wieder! 2 Familien aus Österreich:)
The property exceeded our expectations. The hosts were very accommodating and the apartment was immaculate. The towels and bedding seemed brand new and we appreciated how comfortable it made us feel traveling with our two sons. We felt a million miles from the city, yet we had access only 15 minutes away. Thank you for making our week in Tuscany so special!
This was the first place we stayed on our two week trip traveling in Italy. It was a perfect experience of the small village life and we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. It turned out to be a central location to travel to other sights, and then could return for a quiet and peaceful night get rested for the next day of adventures. The town also had quaint coffee cafe, butcher, baker, bar and restaurant
Le Pergole is a beautifully situated Villa just north of the ancient city of Volterra.
It is nicely furnished, well equipped and, of course has an amazing private pool.
It is an ideal villa for ageing couples (like us!) but also, with bbq, table tennis and the pool, great for families with children.
Volterra is a truly beautiful city where the last new build seems to have been in the C17th. Pisa, Florence, Lucca and Siena are all an hour or so away by car; Rome is 90 minutes train journey from Florence.
Andrea is a wonderful owner, friendly and discreet - his brother, Francesco, makes very good wine from the next property down the lane and sells it for a very small price!
If you eat in Volterra, be sure to go to Dom Beta.
We have been to Le Pergole on 6 occasions over the past few years and know of nowhere better.
