We had a wonderful stay at Villa Corolle. I wanted to be in this specific area of Tuscany and there weren't many options, so I will admit I was a bit worried at booking. As others have noted, the villa could use some very minor upkeep, but nothing to detract from enjoying the property.
The villa was beautiful. The location perfect. The owner and management team exceptional.
I would stay here again....very picturesque setting, great central location to all of the hill towns south of Siena, and a beautiful property with a wonderful pool.
The property was lovely and we had a fantastic family vacation. It was perfect for all of us as we had 9 people staying and it was the most idyllic place to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversay. The 2 ladies who stayed onsite were lovely and were so helpful.
Just back from a fabulous 3 weeks at La Cecchella (July 2018). The villa is lovely with all the facilities for a wonderful holiday but best of all are Francesca and her family who are always at hand to help and answer queries. The pool is a great size and always sparkling. San Martino in Freddano has all the amenities you need (including a great gelateria!) We felt at home immediately and I would strongly recommend La Cecchella for a relaxing and special holiday.
We loved staying here especially the peace and beautiful birdsong. The property would be improved if the owners left a short outline about things like rubbish, recycling, how things work in the house.
Geweldig huis! Wij waren er met 3 koppels en totaal 5 kleine kinderen. Het enige jammere in deze setting is dat het zwembadgedeelte niet is afgezet door hekjes. Wij hebben dat opgelost door te barricaderen met tafels en stoelen maar voelt niet 100% veilig waardoor je toch veel aan het opletten bent. Verder heb je alles wat je nodig hebt in dit prachtige huis! En Marco is altijd direct bereikbaar en als je iets nodig hebt wordt het direct geregeld. Marco maakt geweldige pizza’s in de steenoven waarbij je kan helpen en met zijn allen verschillende pizza’s kunt eten tot je genoeg hebt, en dat is niet duur. Echt de moeite waard om een keer te doen! Directe omgeving vonden wij persoonlijk iets minder dan wat zuidelijker in Toscane (hier veel bomen), maar alles ligt goed dichtbij om te bezoeken!
The villa is big enough to host a family of about 20 persons. We were 10 adults and 3 kids. The scenery is gorgeous. Swimming pool, table tennis, jeux de boule and a lot of games are available. We had great barbecues outside on the different tables around the villa. We will go back next year.
