The villa is just as beautiful as the pictures portrayed - tastefully decorates and well equipped. Stunning views of Cortona and surrounds. The owners were incredibly helpful and friendly. We would definitely stay again!
Abschalten vom Alltag - genau das trifft es mit dem Anwesen Anfora sehr gut.
Ein wunderschön gelegenes toskanisches Anwesen mit allem was man für einen erholsamen Urlaub benötigt. Das Haus / Anwesen ist sehr groß und frei gestaltet. Wir wurden sehr herzlich vom Vermieter mit Familie direkt am Haus begrüßt. Die Anfahrt zum Anwesen ist nicht für jedes Fahrzeug geeignet, daher haben wir etwas weiter oben geparkt ( 10 Minuten Fußweg bergauf ) und der Vermieter war so nett und hat uns unser Gepäck mit seinem SUV zum Anwesen gefahren und bei Abreise auch sehr gerne wieder zum Abstellort unseres Autos gebracht ( wir fahren einen Ford Mondeo Kombi, zum abschätzen des Fahrtweges ). Das Anwesen ist top gepflegt und es fehlt an nichts, Wohnraum, Bäder, Schlafzimmer, Küche, alles komplett klimatisiert, Waschmöglichkeiten ein sehr großer Pool und und und.. einfach nur Traumhaft. Das schönste an diesem Anwesen ist aber die Verbundenheit mit der Natur und die Ruhe die man in Anfora genießen kann. Das Haus ist ausgelegt für 6 Personen, wir waren nur als Paar hier und hatten daher mehr als genug Platz. Aber auch für 6 Personen bietet das Anwesen genug Platz, damit man auch nicht die ganze Zeit auf einander sitzt. Fahrtzeit von Pescia aus sind es ca. 30 Minuten mit dem Auto. Ausflugsziele kann man dann entweder zu Fuß erreichen ( Wandern ) oder man nutzt das Auto und erkundet die Toskana bei etwas weiteren Strecken. Wir kommen gerne wieder, so ein Haus und zuvorkommende Vermieter haben wir selten erlebt.

A beautifully located Tuscan property with everything you need for a relaxing holiday. The house / property is very large and freely designed. We were warmly welcomed by the landlord with family directly at the house. The approach to the property is not suitable for every vehicle, so we parked a bit higher up (10 minutes walk uphill) and the landlord was so nice and brought our luggage with his SUV to the property and also back for departure (we drive a Ford Mondeo station wagon, to make your estimate). The property is well maintained and nothing is missing, living room, bathrooms, bedroom, kitchen, all fully air-conditioned, laundry facilities a very large pool and and and .. just amazing. The most beautiful thing about this property is the closeness to nature and the tranquility that you can enjoy in Anfora. The house is designed for 6 people, we were only here as a couple and therefore had more than enough space. But for 6 people, the property offers enough space, so you do not sit on each other all the time. Driving time from Pescia is about 30 minutes by car. Excursions can then either be reached on foot (hiking) or you can use the car and explore Tuscany at a little further distances. We like to come back, such a house and courteous landlord, we have rarely experienced.

We loved our stay at Agriturismo Paterno in San Gimignano. The place and views are gorgeous. You feel you are in a postcard, in the middle of the perfect Tuscan landscape. The hospitality of the owners is outstanding. We ate every day in their farm "Poggio Alloro": it was the best food we have ever had in Italy. Everything was delicious, organic and home grown. We don´t have enough words to recommend the place. The hosts, the Fioroni family, are the nicest and warmest people we have ever encountered in the hospitality industry. A place to return.
Bellissima villa immersa nel verde e in un contesto molto rilassante.
Al nostro arrivo siamo stati accolti dal sig.Hank, che è stato molto cortese e disponibile per l’intera vacanza.
Essendo in 6 persone ( 2 coppie e 2 singoli) ci hanno sistemato 4 camere da letto, in modo che ognuno potesse avere la sua privacy.
Struttura consigliata per i proprietari di cani, noi ne abbiamo 3, ed essendoci tantissimo spazio verde interamente recintato avevano la possibilità di correre e rilassarsi liberamente.
Piscina privata di modeste dimensioni.
Gli unici difetti sono stati il Wi-Fi che purtroppo non prendeva molto bene, la tv non funzionante e l’acqua della struttura che, negli ultimi giorni, scarseggiava o era completamente assente (dovevamo aspettare che il serbatoio si ricaricasse per poterci lavare).
Nel complesso è stata una bellissima vacanza da ripetere.

Upon our arrival we were greeted by Mr Hank, who was very courteous and helpful for the whole holiday.
Being in 6 people (2 couples and 2 singles) they arranged 4 bedrooms, so that everyone could have their privacy.
Property recommended for dog owners, we have 3 of them, and as there is a lot of completely fenced green space they had the opportunity to run and relax freely.
Small private swimming pool.
The only defects were Wi-Fi, which unfortunately did not take very well, the TV did not work and the water in the house that, during the last few days, was scarce or completely absent (we had to wait for the tank to recharge to be able to wash).
Overall it was a wonderful holiday to repeat.

Anfahrt ist ein wenig schwierig. Das Haus liegt ziemlich abgelegen, aber dafür um so schöner. Super Restaurant in Loppeglia. Nächster Supermarkt 10 min entfernt.

Una estancia de ensueño. La villa está situada espléndidamente a mitad de camino de Florencia y de siena (aprox 30 km de cada una) lo que permite acceder varias veces a las mismas. La villa es preciosa. Muy cuidada. Vistas estupendas y una piscina magnífica.la vivienda espaciosa y con todo lujo de detalles. Pegada a un pueblo medieval con todos los servicios como san Donato in poggio. La propiedad es súper atenta y está disponible permanentemente para solucionar todos los problemas que puedan surgir. Un acierto sin duda. Un diez todo. Problema generalizado en la
Toscana y con el que hay que estar alerta, los mosquitos. Gracias a Débora, sonia y marco por su disposición. Inolvidable

The house was exactly as promised on line. Perfect for two people. It was clean and comfortable with gorgeous views of the surrounding area. The owners were hepful and accomodating.
