Wow!! Could not recommend any more highly. Gioia Milani is an amazing host. Warm. Friendly. Present when you need her. A real Italian Renaissance Woman. She has a storied career in tourism; and, now she is a farmer! Grows her own grapes for her wine. Teaches a cooking class on-site. Will cook for you, on request. Beautiful setting and accommodations. She is young enough to be our daughter; but, thinks of us as her children.
We spent a fantastic week in the apartment. The tranquility, the beautiful location and the historic character of the place particularly appealed to us. We enjoyed the birds and the butterflies around the apartment. The information on the website and the photos give a good idea of what you can expect. The owner is very friendly and helpful. Recommended for anyone looking for a rural holiday home.
Een geweldig mooie locatie tussen de olijfbomen en druivenranken. En op korte afstand van de mooie stadjes in Toscane. Het huis is van alle gemakken voorzien en erg schoon ! We hebben een prachtige week gehad, April 2022.
a great little place, off the tourist track but in a good position to reach all the lovely hilltop towns such as Cortona, Montepulciano, Pienza. very comfortable and cosy.
We are a family of six adults and five children and spent two weeks in april-may 2022 in the six rooms of Villa Amadeo. One of the adults is wheelchair bound. She stayed in the yellow room, which is fully adapted, equipped with a hospital bed and a shower wheelchair. No obstacles. A swimming-pool elevator and a wheelchair lift at the entrance made her stay as relaxing as possible.
It was very apparent that the owners wanted very much to learn from our experiences. Any small problems we encountered were solved almost instantly.
We all, but especially the children, enjoyed the swimming pool very much. As well as Andrea's pizza party!
The house and garden are a showcase of creativity and good taste. Every day we heard and saw bee-eaters, nightingales, serins, warblers and many other birds. The mesmerizing villages and scenery of Tuscany did the rest. We had a wonderful time.
Alte Wohnung auf einem Bauernhof mit fantastischer Ausblick. Man sieht sogar San Gimigniano! Die Autobahneinfahrt liegt auch sehr Nahe. Dame von der Reception sowie der Eigentümer sind sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Menschen.
A beautiful house in an unspectacular but beautiful rural part of Tuscany. The house has spacious rooms and different bathrooms and a garden with a swimming pool and whirlpool where the ultimate holiday is. The only point of criticism, the owner Roberto is extremely friendly but certainly also very businesslike. I thought the almost €800 in gas / light for a week, while we were economical, an absurdly high amount
We wanted to rent a real old Tuscan villa with our children, grandchildren, family and friends.
Already a year ago we were in love with the photos we saw of Villa Silvia, however the arrival
with 12 degrees and rain in the very cold villa, was a bit disappointed. The typical Italian uninviting white (dentist) lighting did not make it more atmospheric apart from some minor defects. Now 1 month later we look back on a fantastic period that exceeded our expectations;
what a beautiful villa, richly equipped with cupboards, paintings, books and other decorations and what a pleasure to sit in the large attractive garden where there is always shade and sun with a beautiful view.
The Tuscan sun heated up the large pool fairly quickly and the same for the temperature in the whole house, because it was cold in the beginning.
With great pleasure and gratitude we look back on a month of Villa Silvia,
“a place to love”.
