This farmhouse lies on the hills of Cortona, with a great views of the Val di Chiana area. Just a short distance away are the towns of Camucia and Cortona itself (a historical city with Etruscan origins).
The house looks out onto a fantastic panorama view and has a beautiful swimming pool which is reserved for the private use of guests. It is divided into two units – there is no internal connection between the units apart from an outdoor staircase, but the rental is only available to one set of guests at a time.
It has been recently restructured and is very welcoming. A fully fenced garden completes the property.
Cortona is accessed via a country road which travels rising along the hill and is roughly 1km long. From the town of Camucia (1.5km from the rental) guests can take a train to reach the main areas of interest that Tuscany, Umbria and Lazio offer.
Distances: 900m away lies a shopping centre, Camucia with a wide variety of shops and a train station is 1.5km away, Cortona 1km, Lake Trasimeno 20km, Arezzo 28km, Montepulciano 30km, Pienza 45km, Montalcino (home to the famous Brunello wines) 65km, Siena 70km, Orvieto 95km, Florence 118km, Rome 220km.
Available to guests: garden with private swimming pool for the exclusive use of guests only (8 x 4 m – minimum depth 1.1 m - maximum depth 1.5 m), mobile barbecue, furnished area with table and chairs for outdoor dining, panoramic terrace. Room with washing machine.
