The Capanna Leopoldina, dating back to the first half of the 18th century as marked on the first Tuscan land register, has been completely restored and now offers 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms, while maintaining its typical Tuscan style with wood beamed ceilings and terracotta floors that are so typical for the old barns in the Chianti region. The house is part of a farm comprising 2 other apartments and the owners house.
The Capanna Leopoldina is a beautiful and independent country house from whose panoramic terrace it's possible to admire the beautiful Hills of the Chianti region. Not far from the old town of Castellina in Chianti, the house offers its guests an unforgettable holiday in the heart of Tuscany, thanks to the relax area in the shade of secular oaks and elm trees near the house.
It's possible to reach the town afoot with an easy walk (500 meters) through the vineyards.

At guests' disposal:
The Villa is roughly 100 mt far from the owners house, where you can use the pool to share with other 2 apartments (mt. 6 x 14 - depth 1,40 to 2,40), with the solarium and the panoramic terrace.

Beskrivelse Interiør

The Villa ( 250 m2) has two floors linked by a wide stairway made from tuscan stone.

On ground floor there is a big living room with a reading corner, TV and DVD reader and a fireplace; a dining room and a kitchen (microwave, electric oven, gas hob, dishwasher, toaster, kettle, fridge and freezer) where you can easily move thanks to a island in the middle of the room.
From the kitchen it's possible to acces the laundry room in the understairs of the house.
Still on the ground floor, easily accessible from the outside, there's a double bedrooom and a bathroom with shower.

On the first floor: on the right of the stairs there is the first suite, composed of double bedroom (with air conditioning) separated from the living room by an old and beautiful archway and the private bathroom with both shower and baththub.
All the rooms of this suite overlook the viti's family vineyards and Castellina in Chianti with its old medieval tower.
In front of the stairs there's the second suite (with air conditioning), also accessible from the outside in the upper side of the villa, with double bedroom, relax corner and private bathroom with shower.
Lastly, on the left of the stairs there are the two double bedrooms (each with air conditioning) with their respective bathrooms with shower; all the rooms offers a great view on the nature that surround the building.

Every window is equipped with mosquito nets.
On request it is possible to prepare two rooms with separate beds.
