The building - dating back to the second half of the 18th century - is composed of 3 apartments and 1 debroom, finely refurbished with attention to details and colours respecting the original structure as much as possible - all with modern comforts, antique stylish furniture, well equipped kitchen, sat-TV and internet connection. At guests' disposal: The property comprises a large garden, a 7x14m swimming pool (depth: 1,2/2,2m) with diving board and tile floor as well as tables, chairs, sunbeds and parasols. The pool is open from 25 April until 30 September. Free covered parking. The property is open all year round. Breakfast and dinner on request. Distances: It is located in the village of Staggia Senese and that is very convienent. In Staggia you can find a supermarket, restaurant, pizzeria. Siena 28 km, Poggibonsi 8 km, San Gimignano 19 km, Florence 50 km. Its right on the edge of a little village so its a only a few minutes walk to the the restaurants (3), pizzeria, bar or gelateria. Plus, the town has a couple very small shops for necessities. The location is ideal for touring as its 30 minutes away from both San Gimignano and Sienna. We also hit up Colle De Val D'Elsa which is a fun little town. The unit itself isn't fancy but has everything you need and the bed in the master bedroom is very comfortable. Another plus was the pool in the back. While we didn't swim, they have a very nice well maintained areas with a hammock and lounge chairs that we used for afternoon reading. The internet is another nice benefit. Finally there is a large parking private parking lot so you don't have to worry about finding street parking. The only drawback we saw was that it there was some traffic noise during the day since the front of the apartment is adjacent to the small highway that runs through the village. This would only be an issue though if you were hanging out in the living room during the day or if you were trying to sleep in during the morning in the second bedroom which has the two single beds. Since there were only two of us and only used the master bedroom, it didn't affect us at all Overall, we thought this apartment had the perfect feel for a Tuscany getaway and would recommend it to anyone traveling in the area. Our only issue was the walls of the building although thick, were only feet away from speeding vehicles all night long.
