Welcoming country house with private pool situated in quiet location on the Chianti hills, a short distance away from the charming medieval villages of Certaldo (5 km away) and San Gimignano (18 km away). This villa provides nice, tastefully furnished interiors. The outside offers a large garden with lawn, private pool and a nice small pond.
On the premises there is a small outbuilding adjoining the villa offering a double bedroom with bathroom (rented only together with the villa to accommodate up to 6 people).
The location of this property is ideal to enjoy the Tuscan country-side and at the same time to visit the beautiful art cities of the region.
The access to the property is via an unpaved but well-maintained road.
Distances: Sciano with a bar and a pizzeria 1,5 km away, Certaldo with general stores and railway station 5 km, San Gimignano 18 km away, Siena 42 km, Volterra 45 km away, Florence (airport) 45 km away, Pisa (airport) 80 km.
At guests’ disposal: large furnished garden, equipped covered terrace, private swimming-pool (8 x 4 m – depth 1,5 m – open from 01/05 to 30/09), open-air shower (cold water only), barbecue. Fans are provided in all of the bedrooms.
The villa provides internet connection (WI-FI, free of charge).
Parking within the grounds.

Wir können die Casa Cipressi eindeutig empfehlen. Es hat so viel Charme, eine tolle abgeschiedene und komplett ruhige Lage sowie einen abwechslungsreichen Garten der zum Erforschen einlädt.
Wir waren Anfang Mai dort und der große Pool war wirklich frisch, erst Mitte Mai hatte das Wasser über 20C. Wir empfanden die schon mehrfach kommentierten harten Matratzen als wirklich angenehm und bequem, selbst für meine Wirbelsäulen geschädigte Frau.
Isabel unterstützte uns toll bei kleineren Problemen, die Übergabe bei An- und Abreise war völlig problemlos. Vorsicht, Google Maps wollte uns nach Tavarnelle über einen üblen Feldweg Richtung Sciano lotsen, da unbedingt der Anfahrtsbeschreibung des Vermieters über Baberino Val d'Elsa folgen.Vil du anbefale denne ejendom til en ven? Lovely location, fabulous views and great pool. Villa itself needs a little tic - a few flower pots and new mattresses in the twin room. Couldn't see any smoke alarms and there are bars on the windows.

Ein tolles Haus mit Pool und wunderschönem Garten. Wir hatten eine tolle Woche. Übergabe und Abnahme hat sehr gutr geklappt.

The property was fantastic as was Isobel who sorted out the pool. Sadly the mattresses were so hard we awoke each morning aching. The mosquitos were a nuisance but overall it was a wonderful experience

We had a lovely time at Casa Cipressi. The house remained reasonably cool and the pool was lovely. As you would expect from a rural property there was lots of wildlife- including 3 types of ants (make sure you keep food covered), lizards and frogs. We took the train from Certaldo into both Sienna and Firenze it was efficient and much more relaxing than driving. Enjoyed meals at the local restaurant. Isobel was welcoming and quick to sort out any issues.

Nice house. Very spacious.
Pros: Nice quite location, nice pool, nice garden with a lot of trees and shadow places, change of linen and towels after one week, lots of herbs in the garden. nice terasse, beds in good condition, water pressure ok. good internet access via WLAN and LTE. And last but not least wonderful service by Isabel,
Cons: Kitchen (!!!), needs renovation, too small, oven to small, no dishwasher (!!!),

The house is located outside Certaldo on a quiet location but very good for the region for visiting towns. The pool is excellent. The house is a bit old but serves its purpose. A dishwasher would be a nice addition and maybe airco for the hotter days. The host Isabelle is excellent and super friendly.

We would highly recommend the Casa Cipressi, it’s in a beautiful remote setting with lovely views from the entrance over the Tuscan countryside, vineyards and olive groves. We loved spotting deer in the hillside, although vineyard owners aren’t so enthusiastic, as deer nibble and damage the vines!
The large garden is a delight, and lovely to explore, it has a little pond with very noisy frogs which leap into the water when they spot you coming! The pool is well maintained with sun loungers available. There is a nice shady dining area outside the villa where we ate all our meals.
The interior of the villa is rustic but very comfortable. There are fans in all the bedrooms which was essential when temperatures crept up to 40C in June!
The villa is situated in a good position for sightseeing. Make sure to take the train from Certaldo to Firenze as it takes you to the centre of the city. We also enjoyed San Gimignano, Siena, Volterra and Certaldo Alto among others nearby.

Ausstattung ist mittelmäßig, aber der schöne Garten mit dem dem Pool machen das wieder wett. Schlafräume und Bad waren sauber und ordentlich, auch in der "Dependance", wobei die Betten etwas hart sind. Die Küche und die Küchenausstattung waren nicht ganz perfekt - daher ein Haus Abzug. Dafür direkte Verbindung zwischen Küche/Wohnraum und der schönen Terrasse.
Ruhige, abgelegene Lage - in Certaldo gibts alles was man braucht, sogar eine wirklich schöne Altstadt aufm Berg.Vil du anbefale denne ejendom til en ven? Ja
We hebben vele uitstapjes gemaakt tijdens ons verlof maar het was altijd heerlijk thuiskomen op het vakantiehuis. Het voldeed voor de volle 100% aan onze verwachtingen qua inrichting en ligging.

Si vous cherchez la Dolce Vita, alors arrêtez-vous à la Casa Cipressi. La maison est située dans un endroit calme et reposant où la fraîcheur du soir y est très agréable. Vous y croiserez le gardien des lieux, un chat adorable.
La cuisine est assez bien équipée. L'intérieur est décoré avec goût et la piscine au bord des oliviers est un atout de taille.
Bien située par rapport aux grands sites touristiques, vous pouvez pleinement profiter de la Toscane.

Casa Cipressi is a first class villa providing an extremely comfortable stay. The pool is fantastic & a welcome relief are a long day out. The alfresco dining

Casa Cipressi heeft onze vakantie tot een heel mooie vakantie gemaakt. De ligging , helemaal vrij met een groot stuk grond met olijfbomen en cipressen is zó rustgevend. Heerlijk dagelijks even zwemmen in ons eigen zwembad, op de tijd die je maar wilt geeft je een ontspannen gevoel. Het huis is prima verzorgd, we kregen tussendoor zelfs nog schoon linnengoed. Alles is aanwezig. Iedere slaapkamer heeft een eigen badkamer en overal zitten horren. Het huisje in de tuin geeft nog extra privacy voor wie dat wil. Terras is overdekt: geen last van de zon en ook 's avonds zit je er heerlijk!Tuin goed onderhouden, zwembad schoon, BBQ prima.
Bovendien is het een goede plek voor uitstapjes naar Sienna, San Gimignano ( kan je zien liggen vanuit de tuin)en Florence. Hebben wij met de trein vanuit Certaldo gedaan, dan stap je meteen het centrum van de stad in. Het oude centrum van Certaldo op de berg, te bereiken via de funicolare, is zeker ook de moeite waard!Kortom: een plek om nog eens terug te komen!!

The location, completely free with a large piece of land with olive and cypress trees is so soothing. Lovely dayly swimming in our own pool, at the time you want gives you a relaxed feeling. The house is well cared for, we even got clean linens midweek. Everything is there. Each bedroom has its own bathroom and there are window screens everywhere. The cottage in the garden gives extra privacy for those who want it. The terrace is covered so you do not suffer from the sun and it's great also in the evening . The garden is well maintained, clean swimming pool, BBQ fine!.
Moreover, it is a good place for trips to Sienna, San Gimignano (you can see this town from the garden) and Florence. We went there by train from Certaldo, then you step straight into the center of the city. Absolut fantastisches Anwesen: Super gepflegt, sehr große Fläche, komplett alleinige Nutzung und rings um keine weiteren Häuser. Fantastischer Pool und die nächste Pizzeria ist in 20 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Besser kann man sich nicht erholen! Sehr flexibler Verwalter, der auf alle Anreise- und Abreisewünsche gerne eingeht. Hat unsere Erwartungen insgesamt deutlich übertroffen.

This is an excellent villa in the perfect location. Very homely with a wonderful garden and pool. We felt very relaxed and at home here. Our 19th month old loved running around the garden and splashing in the pool and was overjoyed to see tractors in the surrounding fields on a daily basis! Would recommend to anyone.
