Charming property situated in the heart of the Chianti Classico region, only 3 km away from the renowned small town of Greve in Chianti. This property, offering a beautiful panoramic swimming-pool, has been carefully restored preserving its original architectural features and turned into 3 welcoming apartments. All of the 3 units are tastefully furnished in a rustic style and are provided with a private outdoor area. San Pierino 1 and 2 are in the same farmhouse and can be connected while San Pierino 3 is situated approx. 400 m away (or 1,1 by car) in another building.
This property is part of a large farming state where the owners have been producing excellent wines and olive oil since the 16th century.
The location allows nice excursions in the Chianti area with its charming little towns and villages. Florence, Siena and San Gimignano are within 45 km.
The access to the property is via an unpaved but well-maintained road not suitable for sports cars (for San Pierino 1 and 2).
Distances: Greve in Chianti with nice restaurants and general stores 3 km away, Florence (airport) 30 km away away, Siena 45 km, San Gimignano 40 km away, Pisa (airport) 130 km away.
At guests’ disposal: private furnished outdoor area for all of the apartments, equipped garden with beautiful panoramic swimming-pool (7 x 15 m – maximum depth 2,7 m – open from 16/05 to 26/09) to be shared occasionally with the owners of the property. Parking within the grounds. Washing machine available in all of the 3 units.
Extra Services: Baby bed and high-chair available on request (free of charge). An extra bed can be requested in San Pierino 2 and 3 by paying a supplement of € 80,- / per week (payment on site).
The wines and olive oil produced on the estate are available for clients to be purchased.
Check-in between 16.00 and 18.00.

The property is very authentic and nice to stay in. The owner was very nice and helped us in every way he could. He took care that our stay would be comfortable and great.

San Pierino 1
Our family (five adults) spent one week at San Pierino 1 the last of June through July 4 weekend, 2015. Very much enjoyed the property, the pool, the Tuscan scenery. Vincenzo our contact was extremely personable and helpful. Apartment could use two or three fans (no A/C). We had some problems with mosquitoes as one member was very sensitive. An excellent location for visiting Siena, Florence, Tuscan sights. Part of large working wine estate, which we found interesting. We would recommend it, especially as it was affordable.

The villa was everything and more. The views were undescribable and pool was so needed in the tuscan sun. We had the trip of a lifetime.

This was a beautiful, peaceful location to relax with family. We arrived late at night in the dark, and ran around the next morning opening windows to reveal the amazing views! The pool was great for the kids. The villa was clean and spacious. We were able to take several day trips to Florence, Pisa, Luca, San Gimignano and Colle di Val d'Elsa. We loved the location. The little town of Greve was convenient for post office and COOP food market.
