Points of historical-cultural interest

20 minutes by car: Montecastello di Vibio, with the splendid Teatro della Concordia – known as the "Smallest Theater in the World", entirely made of wood, only 99 seats; Deruta with its artistic ceramics and the city of Todi (30').

Within 45 minutes by car: Perugia and Assisi (35' and 45' respectively), Bevagna with its gaite, i.e. the ancient medieval crafts (40'), Spello and Montefalco (40-45'), the splendid Orvieto, with the cathedral and the well of San Patrizio (50'), the ancient Roman city of Carsulae (40'), Massa Martana (40') and the adventurous underground Narni tunnels (45'), the enigmatic La Scarzuola (40').

Between 45 and 60 minutes by car. There are many possibilities for exploration within an hour's drive that allow you to embrace Umbria, Tuscany and Tuscia. For example: Foligno (50'), Spoleto, Gubbio, Città di Castello, Città della Pieve, Orte, Chiusi (60'). With a little more road it is then possible to reach Viterbo, city of the Popes and thermal waters, the Monster Park of Bomarzo (75') and Norcia (90'). Rome and the sea (in Montalto Marina) are two hours away by car.

Points of naturalistic and hiking interest: Rivers and lakes: Corbara (35-45'), Bolsena (60') and Trasimeno (60') lakes. Excursions along the Tiber (less than 10' to Fratta Todina) or along the "Via delle Acque" cycle path and along the Nera gorges (50') and the spectacular Marmore waterfalls (55'). During your stay: in Marsciano, 7-10 minutes away by car, there is everything you need (services, supermarkets, shops). At least 4 supermarkets (Coop, Conad, Lidl) concentrated in the commercial area of ​​“Le Fornaci”, a bakery with Umbrian specialties (Listanti, industrial area, highly recommended). On Mondays there is the town market. Other useful information: Health: 1) reference pharmacies: Menconi and Le Fornaci; 2) “Casa della Salute” clinic (Via Piccolotti, 0758782426 - 406-407); 3) Nearest hospital and emergency room: Medias Valle del Tevere hospital – Via del Buda, Pantalla (20 minutes by car). Local Public Transport

Collelungo di San Venanzo is a small locality nestled in the Umbrian countryside. Although there are some connections with public transport, it is recommended to use a car to comfortably explore the territory and reach the main villages and attractions of Umbria.

Bus: the nearest stop is Collelungo, located directly in the hamlet. It is served by the intercity lines E030 and E040. Line E030 connects the area with Marsciano and San Venanzo, while E040 allows connections towards Marsciano, Fratta Todina and Todi.

Railway Station: one of the most convenient reference stations for the area is Marsciano Station. From Marsciano there are also several regional bus connections to San Venanzo, Todi, Perugia and other Umbrian locations.

Airport: the nearest reference airport is Umbria Airport "S. Francesco d'Assisi", near Perugia. From San Venanzo the car journey is approximately 40 km, with an estimated time of about 40 minutes.

Given the rural location of the property and the limited frequency of public connections, we recommend that guests arrive by car or rent one, so they can freely visit San Venanzo and some of the most beautiful locations in Umbria, such as Todi, Orvieto, Perugia, Marsciano and Lake Trasimeno.
