This was a lovely place to stay. Two families sharing great air con, pool and the most amazing views. The sunset at night over the hills was amazing. Very helpful and kind and happy to help however they could when we had an issue with our car. Fantastic setting.

Fantastic view over Tuscany hills from the hilltop. Great pool. Secluded place, lots of privacy. Kind people, very helpful if something doesn’t work. But electricity in the house is poor, cannot use airconditioning plus electric stove at same time. Internet is slow, but OK, this is Italian countryside. WiFi on the other hand can easily be fixed, and now does not reach all rooms, is unavailable in the 2nd house, let alone around the pool. The road to the house is hard to manage as it is unpaved, steep, and covered in loose pebbles. Your car is slipping most of the way.

Housekeeping was okay, less crockery and less cutlery, in the beginning we didn't have warm water so we had to contact easyreserve to check it for us because the agent wasn't able to do it

Overall, the villa is excellent. It is in a great location close to many small towns which you can easily visit on day trips. We particularly enjoyed our day excursions to Sienna, Cortona & Florence.
When we first arrived, there were a number of cobwebs which we needed to get rid of which was a little annoying. We also expected some "basic" supplies like dishwashing liquid/tablets, toilet paper, cleaning sponge/cloth. There was toilet paper but only half a roll in some of the toilets so we had to shop for those types of supplies immediately. In most self-catering accommodation those types of things would be supplied. The road into the villa is extremely bumpy and needs to be graded or smoothed as you felt like you were going to have the car tip over in some spots. The toilet & shower in the main house also leaked, so we needed to use towels as bathmats to stop the water at times.
Other than those minor grizzles, everything else was perfect. The villa & annexe are spacious and the kitchen is generally well equipped. Beds are comfortable. The host was helpful and friendly.Vil du anbefale denne ejendom til en ven? Ja
Querciolaia is a wonderful property with unbelievably beautiful views. It's a perfect set up with a smaller house for the late night teenagers and a larger home for the grown ups. One glitch was that the owner expected the final payment in cash (approximately $2,000 USD) which we were not notified of until mid-week of our visit.
